Bigger Facilities in Charlotte, North Carolina

To better serve customers and streamline business and processing operations, General Fasteners Company is adjusting its facilities footprint with an expansion and new location in Charlotte, NC.

The new location, 13319 Carowinds Boulevard, Charlotte, NC 28273, offers 300% more space over the current facility and is ideally located within two miles of I-77 and I-485 and 15 minutes from downtown Charlotte and Charlotte-Douglas International Airport. The complex creates a professional work environment, with ample parking and offices to support future needs. Here are a few facts about the new facility:

• 136,000 sq. ft. of office and warehouse space
• 30 docks providing increased logistics flexibility
• 125’ shared truck court area including a 50’ concrete pad for truck parking
• 119 front parking spaces
• Optional additional space for future expansion

“ Charlotte will be taking on an ever-increasing role as a hub location for General Fasteners,” explained Tim Farrell, President. “It offers an excellent geographic location from which to serve our customers in the region as well as other GF facilities. With 30 docks, the new building complex also provides ample room for us to launch our greatly enhanced processes and staging operations plus support the business growth we have already experienced and the growth we anticipate. Eventually, we will add about 20 more people, bringing the total of employees in Charlotte to around 65.”
