Material Planning is key to having the parts at the right place at the right time. Using customer forecast, history, and trends GFC maintains stocking levels to insure continuity of supply. Our process considers not only lead times and transit, but we build in safety stock levels to buffer unforeseen increases in demand.

GFC has a professional team of Program Managers whose responsibility it is to design and manage inventory flow at our customers. We can implement a Kanban system around each customers particular needs. With support from our strategically located distribution centers, we can provide frequent delivery schedules, using either returnable or expendable packaging. Our Program Managers conduct periodic reviews to analyze changes in usage and make appropriate adjustments to the sizing policy. The Program is designed to meet the production needs with the optimum amount of in-plant inventory.
